About Gillson's
Our Story
Gillson's was created with a simple idea in mind: to bring the timeless spirit of the brasserie to Ecclesall Road.
Inspired by classic brasseries, we've created a place where good food, genuine hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere come together. Somewhere equally suited to a leisurely lunch, dinner with family and friends, or a long Sunday afternoon around the table.
For us, dining has always been about more than what's on the plate. It's about taking time to enjoy good food, good company and the simple pleasure of being looked after.

Gillson’s sits within "The Gill Collection" a small, focused group of hospitality businesses built on the same principles of quality, consistency and care.
Each venue within the collection has its own identity and purpose, but they're united by a shared approach to food, drink and hospitality. From a neighbourhood wine bar and sharing plates restaurant to a Champagne and cocktail bar, every space has been created to feel welcoming, considered and somewhere people genuinely enjoy spending time.
